The Elements · II of IV
Water
Movement like tide. Breath becoming motion, and the release that comes when the body stops forcing.
Water is how a body moves when it stops forcing. Mobility, the spine finding its curves, one shape flowing into the next, all of it led by breath rather than by strain.
A practice in this element follows where the body wants to flow before asking it to perform. What resists is met gently. What moves freely is let move. Nothing is rushed to its destination.
